Sylvie and Charlie had been watching from the window in amazement the whole time. They quickly stepped back from the glass and tried to compose themselves after what they had seen, when their eldest son decided to come back inside.

“Another of your mysterious guests has just arrived!” He yelled at them from the entrance, not bothering to actually enter the room and tell them face-to-face. He couldn’t wait another minute and went up the stairs two at a time, in search of Sam.

The Parkers returned to the window and saw that now Anna Scott had arrived, the date they had originally prepared for Harry, who had arrived in the car. They took advantage of the fact that Patrick was already welcoming her and helping her get out of the vehicle to clarify their plan.

- “Did you just see what I saw?”

“I believe so. How is it possible, when they barely know each other?”

"That was no first kiss..." Sylvie commented bringing her fingers to her lips while her head was going a mile a minute.

- “How can you tell...?”

“Charlie, darling, I'm an observant woman and above all, I know my children. Harry kissed her hungrily, eagerly. Did you not see how he looked at her? We’re missing something... something crucial.”

-“Well, we don’t have time to find out right now, because it seems things may be about to get a little more complicated” he whispered to his wife when he heard the front door open and his son Patrick enter with the new guest.

They both looked at each other, planting tense smiles of welcome on their lips, and went to welcome her.
