Distraught by the death of her son, Louisa Manor jumped through a second-floor window of her in-laws’ home in Xenia, Ohio, in 1885. Both her obituary and the cemetery records list her as “Weda” Manor.

At seven thirty on Thanksgiving morning in 1937, Ruth Sinkhorn shot herself in the stomach with her husband’s .20-gauge shotgun in this house. She died at St. Edward’s Hospital twelve agonizing hours later.

After the death of his first wife, Lloyd Sinkhorn lived here in 1943 with his second wife, Helen, and his son, Jackie. Four months after the couple’s marriage, Lloyd drowned in Silver Creek.
