Chapter 35

Monty came out of the bathroom in the hotel room.

“Where Tina at nigga?” Souped asked.

“Shit, I thought they had went to the bar,” he said rubbing his stomach. Fucking Mexican food, he thought to himself.

“Why, what’s up my nigga, everything cool?” Monty asked.

“Shiiit, based on the way that Dred just ran out of here, Ion really think shit cool, my nigga.” Rocko said. “Me and Souped need to lay our ass down for a second. Go make sure everything cool, he just ran down the stairwell.”

“Nigga, hurry up,” Souped said, shading Monty. That’s mine, if I had of been here she would still be in my sight, he thought to himself.

Souped looked down at his bandage which had begun to bleed through. I should have stayed my ass in the hospital.

“Did anybody get my phone?” he asked, grabbing Monty’s shoulder on the way out.

“I don’t know my G.” Monty said, trying to be understanding. He was not about to be no fucking pion for no damn body.

“Give me your phone to you come back. I need to make a few calls,” Souped said, impatiently.

“I got respect for you because you’re D's brother, but watch how you come at me. I’m not one of those type a niggas. I don’t take orders from you. You can use my shit but if I am part of the family, I need my respect.” Monty said. He felt like if he didn’t start saying something about that shit now, it could get out of control. He had to be a man and play his cards right, so right then and there he set his boundaries.

“I can respect that,” Souped said just cool to use his phone. He was so curious about what the world was saying about his concert and how he was shot. Shit, all the cameras in that bitch there could be a picture or video of who did this shit easily.

“I need to find out who the fuck did this shit,” Souped said, thinking out loud.

Souped and Rocko still did not know that Mila was alive, Monty thought to himself.

“I got a little info for y’all before I head out. Mila, that bitch is still alive,” he said, closing the door, which left Souped and Rocko shocked and Asha wondering, who the fuck was Mila?

“So, are you Clean up Crew Tony?” Tessa asked. She had never seen this nigga a day in her life.

“Yeah, shit don’t take no fucking Albert Einstien. These the niggas that was outside her room. Where the fuck is Mila?” Tina asked, beginning to sweat in the hot ass stair well.

Dred was so close that he could hear everything. He could tell that Tessa and Tina was OK after he heard them talking. It sounded like they had shit under control that one way.

He decided to hang back and check them out in action without him.

“I hope they don’t kill Tony,” he said under his breath. He already needed to replace Doc, he felt like he could repair the situation with Tony once he told him Mila was behind this shit.
