Helping him to get back into society and in helping to forge a new life for himself so that he knows what to do if he does get those thoughts and that he has other things going on so those thoughts aren’t his primary interest and so it’s with those things.… Equally if he needs help with the basic stuff like housing or benefits then we will always support him with that as well as the more in-depth stuff.

I suppose it’s working with the Core Member in setting goals in what they want to achieve and supporting them through that whether it’s identifying social groups, helping with job applications or helping with their CV. It’s giving them someone who wants to spend time with them that isn’t a professional and who wants to talk to them about whatever they want to talk about.
