Chapter Four

Maggie woke up in a haze. She didn’t know if it was day or night. Or even what the date was. Her body felt used and treasured at the same time, and her senses were primed to recognize every imaginable pleasure.

They’d barely made it to the couch before making love the second time, and somehow ended up on the floor when all was said and done. Riley was better than her fantasy. And she was afraid no one else would ever measure up. It was hard to keep her heart and her head separated. She’d always been one of those people who associated sex with love. And it would be really easy to love Riley MacKenzie.

They’d lied on the floor, still wrapped in each other, and talked for she didn’t know how long. And when her eyes had become heavy, she’d felt safe enough in his arms to sleep.

The room was pitch black when she woke and she stretched languorously across satin sheets that felt like a cool cloud against her heated body. But she found out she could only stretch so far. Something soft wrapped around her wrists and kept them over her head. She moved her legs and found they’d been bound similarly.

“I was wondering when you were going to wake up. It’s been hell on my control to watch you sleeping the last few hours.”

“Why am I tied up?” Her voice quivered with fear and excitement and she pulled against her restraints again. “Can you turn on a light?”

“I’ve got candles lit all around the room. Can you smell them? Open your senses and it will heighten your pleasure.”

It was then Maggie realized she’d been blindfolded. Her nipples puckered and they scraped sensitively against the satin sheet with every movement. The candles wax was scented with vanilla and she inhaled deeply, catching another scent she was unfamiliar with. Something spicy that sent tingles through her body.

“Riley,” she moaned. “I want you to touch me.”

“I’m planning on it. But first I thought we’d play a little game. I went searching through the toy chest in your room and thought we’d try a few things. What do you say?”

The whimper that escaped her lips must have been answer enough for him. The sheet that covered her slid sinuously down her body until she lay bare before him.

“You’re wet even now,” he said. “I can see your desire. Let’s see what this does.”

She felt his finger trail over the pulse in her neck and move down her body, leaving a wet path in its wake. The spicy scent was stronger now, and she knew it was some kind of oil. He came back again and touched each of her nipples with the liquid, and she moaned as her body began to heat. Her clit felt swollen and her pulse raced. And then his mouth was on her breast and she jerked against her restraints, fighting to get closer to the pleasure.

“Mmm, Riley. Please. I can’t take this.”

“Ssh, sweetheart. You can take it.
