Walker and Noah never talked about such intimate things. Walk was dying to know everything, of course, and if his buddy’s girlfriend had been anyone other than Miranda, he might have actually inquired, probably in some sort of snide way while they were shooting hoops or something. He knew enough though, to keep quiet about all of that. Instead, he and Noah stuck to important things like sports trivia, what was going on with the singers and bands they liked, the weird ways of celebrities and athletes, and things they could work on together from school. They didn’t talk about books. Walk wasn’t into it enough, and assumed Noah only talked about them to impress Miranda. After many months with this new friend and his association with Miranda and her cohorts, Walker Jones still kept his head down in life, generally. He was having a strange time dealing with Constance Mark though, and not just because he disagreed with her all the time. There was something about her he couldn’t put his finger on. They argued a lot, but in a weird way. It was almost as if they both enjoyed it.
