It's a simple document since it's not a contract but a transfer of song copyright ownership stating that I, Ivy Blake, sign the rights to the song title Deny Me over to the band The Alliance for One Million. This amount includes upfront royalty payments but after that I earn no royalties or own any rights to the song. Once we've read it though I sign where my name is printed, Kayden choose to be the one to hand over the cheque and when he does my hand shakes a little. It definitely feels weird to have my boyfriend hand me a cheque of an insanely amount of money. It does feel a bit like I'm taking his money but remind myself it's business and I'm entitled to it.
