TESS WAS POSITIVE nothing could feel better than what Blake was doing to her body. He kept bringing her to the edge, then pulling back just as she was about to fall. But as much as she adored his caresses, if he didn’t stop soon, she was going to scream with frustration.

“Blake, please,” she murmured against his mouth.

He broke the kiss, his gaze locked on hers as he increased the rhythm of his hand, subtly changing the pressure. Tess clung to him, struggling to catch her breath as she shattered in his arms.

“Wow,” she said, once she could think again. She probably should be embarrassed by what had just happened, but she couldn’t be. Not while Blake looked at her with a combination of lust and tenderness.

Blake chuckled deep in his chest. “Glad you liked it.”

“Like is an understatement,” she muttered, half pulling, half pushing him over to the bed. They toppled onto the mattress, Blake catching her weight and rolling under her. He reached up, cupping her breasts, his thumbs lightly rubbing against her tight nipples. Desire shot through Tess, pooling between her legs. Feeling far more daring than she ever had before, she smiled at him, and then kissed him deeply, drawing his tongue into her mouth and sucking.

She really loved kissing Blake. He always seemed as if he couldn’t get enough of her, as if she drove him as crazy as he drove her. It gave her a heady sense of power knowing she got to this strong, sexy man.

When he rolled her over onto her back, she thought he finally was going to take her, but he didn’t. Instead, he shifted to her side, and propped his head up on one hand. He watched her closely as he fondled her breasts, rubbing their hardened nipples with lazy, sensuous strokes. Tess ran one hand across his chest, enjoying the sensation of the thick hair against her finger-tips. Leaning up a little, she skimmed her hand down his belly and below, encircling his erection.

Blake closed his eyes as she explored him. She watched in fascination as the muscles in his jaw tensed. Finally, he reached down and gently removed her hand from around him.

“Honey, I can’t wait any longer. I have condoms in my wallet.” Blake made a move to get up from the bed, but Tess stopped him.

“I’ve got some.” She reached into the nightstand drawer and pulled out one of the condoms Megan had left her.

“Tess, you devil.” Blake leaned over and looked inside the drawer. Tipping his head, he shot her a teasing glance. “Wow, you planned ahead. Were you plotting all along on seducing me?”

She shook her head. “Megan gave me those.”

He quirked an eyebrow and glanced back in the drawer. “There are at least a dozen condoms in here. Are you expecting superhuman power?”

She giggled, loving the way he teased her, especially now. He made her feel special, not self-conscious.

“I expect you to do your best,” she told him in a mock-stern tone.

Blake kissed her, nibbling at her lips.
