To say Josh rocked her world would be a colossal understatement. They’d made love for over two hours. There was not a spot on her body he hadn’t kissed. She’d never been with a man who could take her to the heights Josh did. No man had ever made her feel totally worshipped. If she wasn’t in love with him before, the last two hours had closed the deal.

They lay wrapped in each other’s arms, listening to the lazy roll of the waves. Mandi rested her hand over Josh’s heart, every beat caressing her palm. He continued to make lazy strokes over her skin, his touch igniting the flames deep inside her.

“I don’t know what to say to you, Josh. I’ve never been this content. I feel like I’ve known you my whole life, not just six weeks.” She placed a kiss on his shoulder. “You make me happy.”

“You make me want to be a better man.”

“I didn’t think I’d ever trust another man again. Josh, I’ve fallen in love with you.”

His hand stopped moving over her body and he held his breath.

Oh God, she’d blown it by saying the words. He wasn’t ready to hear them. Not yet. She squeezed her eyes shut, wishing she could take the words back. “Sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything yet.”

He let out a sigh and pulled her closer. “Are you kidding me? That’s the best news I’ve heard in… forever. I’m in love with you, too.”

“I thought I’d blown it.” She pinched his chest. “Don’t ever scare me like that again.”

“Ouch! I was in temporary shock. I thought I’d imagined the words. I’ve heard you say them in my dreams a million times over the last few weeks.” He pulled her on top of him. “Say it again.”

“I love you, Josh.” She kissed him. “Make love to me again.”

And he did, over and over until they were too exhausted to move.
