Who knows when the next time would be that we’d see another chance to get off? It could be months, maybe even years. What if we were stuck there forever? The more I thought about it, the angrier I got.

Further I pushed, deeper and deeper into the unknown, having no idea where my feet would take me.

And then it happened- my biggest fear.

I screamed so loud that it must have echoed across the entire island.
