Chapter 10

Skyy

​I woke up the next morning in unfamiliar surroundings. It took me a minute to realize where I was, but then last night came back to me. We watched 2 movies while we ate, chilled and laughed. Sometime while watching the 2nd movie must have been when I fell asleep, but I didn’t remember coming upstairs.

​Looking to the left of me, Storm was lying next to me still sleeping. Looking past his head, there was the alarm clock that read it was 6:26 am. Even though I didn’t want to move I had to pee, and I couldn’t wait. So, easing out of bed I tiptoed to the bathroom to relieve myself.

​As soon as I was done wiping myself, the bathroom door was opening and in walked Storm.

​“Good morning.”

​“Ummm, good morning.” I was confused as he walked to the sink and started to brush his teeth as if I wasn’t even standing there. The bathroom was always a private place for me and this was weird having someone come in and start doing stuff while I was in here, especially a man.

​“What if I was in here shitting? You didn’t even wait.”

​“Skyy, ya ass wouldn’t be in here shitting. Trust me, I know.”

​“Whatever ugly.” Standing up, I pulled up the boxers and walked to the sink to wash my hands. “Do you have an extra toothbrush?”

​“Yea, here.” He opened the medicine cabinet and there was an opened 5 pack toothbrushes with only 2 left.

​After we brushed our teeth, Storm let me know he had things to do so he had to get dressed, but we could get something to eat. It sucked that he was so busy, but I understood. He was young and had to take care of himself; he also mentioned that he took care of his mom. After breakfast, Storm and I still wanted to spend time together. He had some running around to do, so he was taking me home to change clothes and then we would be on our way. We pulled up to my house and Chi’s dad was creeping out of the side door. His suit jacket was over his arm and he was shutting the door with ease. Mr. Jacobs must have thought that I was home.

​I had yet to confront my mom about the affair, but I could see that coming to an end today. Yes, I had been giving her the cold shoulder, but she didn’t know why.

​“Damn, ya mom a freak,” Storm joked, but I ignored him and just got out the car. I wasn’t mad at him at all, it was just the situation.

​Going through the front door, I headed directly into my room. There was already an outfit that I had in mind. Since I had already showered at Storm’s house, I slipped out of the clothes he gave me and slid into my pink, blue and black tie dye romper with a pair of tie dye PINK slides that matched exact. Changing my earrings, I took out my hoops and put in a pair of gold post and slid on my Alex and Ani bracelets.
