Chapter Twelve

Staring up at Trevor’s house, Jamie worked to get his breathing under control. So turned on, he didn’t even remember the drive over here. And he’d been worried about Trevor driving. So little blood remained in his brain, it was probably a much bigger hazard for him to be on the road in his truck than Trevor on his motorcycle.

Although as he watched Trevor strut toward him in those tight leather pants, the bulge along the zipper caught his attention. It looked like Trevor may be having a few blood flow issues of his own. Anticipation thrummed through him as he stepped out of the cab of his truck and into Trevor’s arms. A quick kiss and they rushed toward the house. No reason to give Mrs. Finkle heart palpitations and lord knew they both had seen way too much of Clint in the past week, so indecent exposure charges would be bad, too.

Jamie followed Trevor into the house. Trevor seemed a bit nervous, not really meeting his eyes. Shutting the door closed and locked, Trevor immediately began tugging his shirt over his head. Jamie stopped him. They needed to slow this down right now. If he ever wanted Trevor to take him seriously—to take this seriously—he needed to treat this as much more than just a fuck. Besides, if he seduced his way into Trevor’s bed, they’d both have a hell of a lot more fun along the way.

Jamie tugged Trevor’s fingers loose from his T-shirt and shook his head. “You are mine to unwrap and I want…” He dipped his head to kiss Trevor’s knuckles, still in his hand. Then he lightly bit the corner of Trevor’s mouth where a frown had begun to form. As Trevor chased after him for a kiss, he held him still by the back of the neck. “No, I want to go very slowly.” He licked a slow trail down Trevor’s neck. “Because I want to savor this. Enjoy it. I want this experience to be the one thing you will never, ever be able to forget or wipe from your memory. Today is about making new memories and enjoying this moment in time.”

The lines of Trevor’s face softened and those dimples came out full force. His brilliant blue eyes darkened as he gazed up at Jamie in wonder. “Wow, now that’s how you do seduction. Consider me yours.”

Jamie’s heartbeat ratcheted up a notch and that said something since it had already been about pounding out of his chest. “Let’s take this to your bedroom,” he growled.

Climbing the stairs behind Trevor, Jamie studied the flex of his ass, enjoying the view, until he noticed the tension bracketing Trevor’s shoulders. He’d bet anything that Trevor had sunk too far into his head over this. Jamie needed to fix that.

As they entered Trevor’s bedroom, Jamie continued to push him along to the bathroom door. One of the perks of having overseen the construction of Trevor’s house was that Jamie knew about all the little upgrades it held.
