chapter thirteen
Morning After
I felt like I’d just finished a gymnastics competition when I woke up. My body was sore, but I couldn’t help but smile at knowing I was no longer a virgin. Sin was sleeping peacefully, so I carefully inched out of bed. I didn’t have spare clothes, so I helped myself to one of his t-shirts.
Coffee was calling my name. I allowed my eyes to gaze over Sin for a few more seconds before walking to the kitchen. There were no regrets about what happened between us last night, at least not in my mind. I’d determined when I pulled up at his place that I wasn’t taking Kera’s advice. I wanted Sin to be my first. I felt things for that man that I couldn’t even explain to myself.
Rambling through his cupboards I found the coffee and filters. I knew it was dangerous to be falling for Sin. He made it clear he wasn’t a happily ever after guy. I just couldn’t help it. The things he made me feel when we touched were nothing short of miraculous. I quickly made a pot of java and stood there waiting for it to brew.
Closing my eyes, I allowed last night to play through my head again. He said he couldn’t be tender, but he’d been more than careful with me. Yeah, that initial part hurt when he came inside me, but I knew that was a natural thing. Maybe he felt something other than lust for me. A girl could dream?
“You should have woke me up.” Sin spoke softly, scaring the living crap out of me and I jumped.
“I thought you might need your rest.” His arms wrapping around my waist felt as close to heaven as I ever hoped to be.
He lifted my hair and nuzzled his lips against my neck. “Sit down and let me cook you breakfast.”
I turned in his arms, food being the last thing on my mind now. “I’d rather go back to bed with you.” The words were whispered and my face flushed, but it was the truth. Wrapping my arms around his neck I stood up on my tip toes to give him a kiss.
He growled softly. “How sore are you?”
“Not much.” I didn’t want to talk about that. It was embarrassing to be standing in his kitchen discussing my body.
He chuckled. “Uh huh.” Reaching his hand down, he moved it between my legs. I parted them to give him access, and he stroked before allowing a finger to dip knuckle deep inside. I couldn’t help it, I flinched.
“Like I thought. Baby I’m not going to hurt you. So sit that pretty ass down at the table and let me make you some food.”
I didn’t want food, I wanted Sin. Pouting I rubbed against him. I was upset when he grabbed my hips and pushed me away.
“Not happening little lily.” He turned me around and swatted my backside with his hand. “Sit. Now!”
Rolling my eyes at him, I walked over to the kitchen table and sat down.
