Scratching at the door pulls me awake. A heavy arm is draped over my stomach, keeping me locked tight to him. I bury my smile in the pillow, loving waking up in Colin’s arms.

But the scratching at the door doesn’t stop. Glancing at the clock, I realize it’s already seven. Thankfully, my internship allows me the flexibility to not be in the office. Especially when I’m working with the guy currently in bed with me.

Grabbing Colin’s T-shirt from the end of the bed, I sneak across the room. The second I open the door, Waffles greets me with an excited yip.

“Hi, buddy. Sorry you didn’t get to sleep with your dad last night.” I pick him up, burying my face in his soft fur. There’s nothing better than the smell of a puppy.

I carry him down the stairs and am greeted with an explosion of stuffing.

“Holy shit.”

Waffles wiggles in my arms, ready to go play in the chaos that is now Colin’s living room.

“What’d you do?” Waffles runs over to the couch, hopping onto the back. His tail is wagging behind him, like he’s proud of what he did.

“What the hell?” Colin booms behind me. Waffles barks at him before running over. “What’d you do, buddy?”

Colin tries to sound scolding, but he can’t. He’s already wrapped around Waffles’s little paw.

“I’m guessing he was mad he didn’t get to sleep in his usual spot.”

Colin wraps an arm around me, pulling me into him. His skin is still warm from sleep. “He might have to get used to it.” Colin nibbles on my neck.

“We’ll have to train him then.”

I spin in Colin’s arms. His hair is mussed from my hands being in it all night. We didn’t just stop at one. It’s like we were making up for lost time and had to try and cram in as many orgasms as possible.

Not that I minded, even if I am a little sore this morning.

“What’s this we I’m hearing?”

My hands drift up his pecs, linking around his neck. I pull him down closer to me. His breath is minty fresh.

“I’m only assuming you’re going to need help with the little guy while you’re out of town.”

Colin looks down at Waffles now sitting at our feet.

“You think you can be good for her? Not scare her off?” Waffles just stares up at Colin.

“I think he needs to eat and go out.”

Colin takes Waffles outside, opening the door for him so he can come in when he’s done. While he gets his food out, I start the coffee.

I hop up on the counter while the coffee brews and watch as Waffles bounds in to meet Colin.

It’s easy to see how much these two love each other. I’m not sure who has bigger puppy eyes looking at the other, Colin or Waffles.

“What’s that face for?” Colin’s voice pulls me back to present.

“Just enjoying the morning sights.”

“Oh yeah?” Colin steps between my legs, pushing them apart. His hands stay locked on my knees.

“My guys look pretty cute together.
