I watch Isabella walk out of the mall and there’s an added skip to her step as soon as she spots my car.

“Hi,” she chirps as she climbs in, dropping her handbag on the floor. “Thanks for⸺”

The door is barely closed when I grab the front of her Al’s Hardware Store T-shirt and pull her toward me. The rest of her sentence dies when my tongue enters her mouth. I like Bella, but a relationship with her is out of the question, so I wanted something sort of in the middle, and this was the genius idea I came up with. Only it’s not genius. It’s fucking dumb because I didn’t think it through properly. I thought a few quick make-out sessions, I’d get what I wanted out of her, and we’d go back to how we were. I made this a renewable contract because I thought one week, maybe two would be sufficient to get her out of my system.

Dumb assumption! We’re a week in already and I am nowhere near satisfied. If anything, my craving for her has intensified tenfold. I cannot get enough of this girl. When this idiotic idea popped into my head, I had no clue that her body would do what it does to me. I didn’t know that her skin would feel like silk. I didn’t know that her tits would be playing on my mind at all hours of the day, and I’d randomly be getting hard-ons during chemistry class when I should be learning about covalent electrons. And I didn’t know those fleshy lips would give me feverish night sweats because I so desperately want to feel them wrapped around my cock; I can’t even think straight. Now, if I add to that the fact that we haven’t spent much time together since we agreed to this, I’m left horny and agitated and constantly wanting more. She breaks the kiss before I barely get started and shifts back to strap on her seatbelt. “You’re about to get carried away, and it’s broad daylight in a public place.”

Good observation. It’s one o’clock on a Sunday afternoon. The mall is not just busy, there are families with little kids walking around.

“You’re right.” I let out an irritable breath. “Did you eat yet?”

“No, I was really busy today.
