Chapter 17

Zeena

I woke up around four in the morning and saw that Loki’s side of the bed was empty. I walked out to the living room and didn’t see him there either. I made the decision to head to the main house.

On my way there I stopped at the door realizing that it may have an alarm on it. I wasn’t sure so I walked towards the front gate. Johnny was up. I stopped next to him.

“Hi, I was wondering if Loki came home or do you know if he went back to his place?”

“Hello Zeena. Loki has club business to handle. I don’t know when he will be home. You can go into the main house the door isn’t locked.”

That surprised me. I figured it would be locked up like Fort Knox. I went inside and saw Frigg was on the couch. Raven was in the chair. They both stopped talking when I walked up to them.

“Good morning ladies. I don’t mean to interrupt your conversation. I was just looking for Loki.”

“Good morning Zeena. Loki has things to take care of and will be back later today,” Frigg replied.

“Thank you for telling me. I’m going to head back to his room. Zara is coming back around nine. Talk to you both later.”

I jogged back to Loki’s room. Something tells me that they didn’t want my company. Neither one of them said talk to you later or even goodbye to me.

When I got back I cleaned the room. He’d gotten a new tv that was mounted on the wall now. He didn’t want to take any chances with Zara hurting herself again.

I finished around six. I grabbed my cellphone and went on social media. I made the good morning post since it was my turn. I made one on my timeline and commented good morning to my friends.

I got a message request from Lucy. I was happy she wanted to be friends with me.

“Good morning Zeena. I just want to reach out and say it was wonderful meeting you in person. I really do hope you can come back and visit again.

Marcus told me to tell you that you and Mr. Loki have an open invitation to come to Club Steele any time you wish.

I hope you’re okay with me sending this message. I don’t have a huge amount of friends. Marcus vets everyone. I did become friends with a bad person once. Which is another story, for another time.

Marcus said that you are good people. I take that as something super positive. Okay I will talk to you when you respond. I hope you do.” Your new friend (in person lol) Lucy.

I smile at her words. She is definitely someone I want to spend more time getting to know. I see that she is still online. So, I answer her.

“Lucy I am so happy that you reached out to me. I can’t wait to visit Club Steele again. Please tell Marcus thank you a million times over for the open invite.
