Marissa walked up to her husband and put her right hand on his shoulder.

“Let her go, hun. It’s useless. You can’t stop her. She’s going to get hurt again, and there is nothing we can do about it. We’ve warned her time and time again. That’s all we can do. But she has her mind totally made up. She’s an adult, and now we have to step back. We’ll pick her up again when she falls. We always will.”

Chapter Twenty-Nine

About a week had passed since Bruce’s night out with Emily. Sure, it had seemed to her as if it had been the perfect evening, but it was all a part of his plan to deceive her. He had even programmed their wedding song to come on as soon as he would turn on the engine. He knew she’d fall for that instantly.

On this particular evening though, he didn’t have that date on his mind at all. At this moment, he focused on the woman that was right in front of him, just taking his time with her, caressing every inch of her shivering body, quivering and writhing underneath him. He could spend hours just staring at her sometimes, and she reveled in every minute of it. Their time together lately had become something he looked forward to every day, counting down the hours at work so he could get out of there and get close to her. Of course, at times, he still longed for the other women in his life, but that’s what made it even more special. That’s what would make these rendezvous that much more exciting. It was always something new and something to keep him on his toes.

“I had been looking forward to this moment all day at work today. I couldn’t stop thinking about coming over and taking you into Daddy’s arms.”

He stared intensely down at her before closing his eyes and kissing her with the flaming passion he felt within himself. He ran his fingertips down her arms, sending what felt like shocking bolts of fire. She shivered with anticipation and patiently waited for his lips to touch any part of her body.

“Oh, Daddy, how you make me feel every time you touch me is so incredible. This feels like bliss.”

She bit down her bottom lip knowing it would drive him completely insane. She had told him time and time again that she loved to make him feel that way. He gave her a devilish smile, and just as he was about to take her on top of her kitchen counter, his cell phone rang. At first, he tried to ignore it, not wanting to stop seducing her, but after the fourth ring, he decided to just answer it so that it could stop ringing.

He didn’t bother to look at the screen, as he was too focused on making her feel good, making her feel every inch of his very being. She released a long, low moan as he continued going, while answering the phone through labored breaths.
