“Do you have the trucks Jackie,” Luis asked.

“I do, but Lily is waiting for you,” Jackie responded.

“Then I shall go,” Luis said.

Luis nodded to Jackie then ran out of her room. He slid to a stop as Lily opened the door with a small box in her hand. Luis followed Lily into the room then shut the door.

“Did you ask her Mr. Black Beard,” Lily asked with a smile.

“I know I need to shave. She will have them leave as soon as I give her the word,” Luis said.

“You need to get cleaned up,” Lily said.

“For what,” Luis asked.

Lily rolled her eyes as she put the box in his hands. Luis looked at it to see his name written on it. He looked up to see Lily take her shirt off.

“Why do you take your clothes off in front of me,” Luis asked.

“It’s fun to have you question me on why I do it. Now get cleaned up.” Lily said.

“You never told me what for,” Luis said.

“We are to have dinner with Luke in like twenty minutes,” Lily said as she took her pants off.

Luis put the box down then stared at Lily while she put on a red dress. He got up and walked toward her. Lily turned to face him. Luis kissed her lips then lifted her up. He walked to the bed with her in his arms. Lily snapped her fingers at Luis.

“Hey, are you still listening to me,” Lily asked.

Luis rubbed his eyes.

“Sorry I was thinking of something,” Luis said.

“Well stop thinking and open the box,” Lily ordered.

“Are you making me,” Luis asked with a smile.

“Yes, and stop trying to flirt with me,” Lily ordered.

“Hey, I didn’t strip in front of you,” Luis said.

“Just open the box,” Lily said.

“Yes, my loving wife,” Luis said.

“You wish I was. You seem a lot happier.” Lily said.

“I am because I’m with my best and greatest friend,” Luis said.

Luis smiled and winked at her. He opened the box to see a bag of razors and a bottle of shaving cream. Lily walked up to him and looked at the box.

“Thank you, I really needed these,” Luis said.

“You are welcome love,” Lily said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Luis thought of kissing her but ignored the feeling.

“Only if you knew how I felt,” Lily whispered to herself as she walked away.

Luis heard her comment but chose not to respond. He got up and walked toward the bathroom.

“Hey Lily are you ready,” Luis asked as he finishes putting on his dress shirt.

“Yes, let’s go,” Lily said.

Luis opened the door to see his father outside in the hall. Luke smiled as he put his hand on Luis’s face. He saw Lily and smiled.

“I see you got him his gifts,” Luke said.

“Yes, I have,” Lily responded.

“You look great without the beard my son. Are you two ready for dinner?” Luke said with a smile.

“Thank you father and yes,” Luis said.

“Then follow me,” Luke said.

Luis waited for Lily to close the door.
