Chapter Three
It was crazy. How could Fiona find Kade so appealing when she knew he was so totally wrong for her? Kade was serious, he was intense, he had commitments and he wanted another one. He was the exact opposite of what worked for Fiona—plus he didn’t let her wind him around her little finger. He stood his ground, like Mount Everest, and waited for her to come to terms with the way he was.
And accommodate him.
It was nuts. She should have walked away. She should have left him handcuffed in the shop and gone back to the hotel.
But his kiss had melted her knees.
Again.
And this time, a kiss wasn’t going to be enough.
Teasing him on was making her wild, too. She felt as if she was stirring a volcano to life. There was nothing in her experience like watching Kade start to burn for her—and to think about what he might do about it. She was glad he was handcuffed, just because it evened the score a bit.
She had to get him out of her system and there was no time like the present. She’d seduce him, whether or not they claimed the prize money, then move on to other conquests. It would be easy and it would be solved.
After a quick peek, she chose the largest of the fitting rooms, one with a leather bench in the middle and mirrors on three walls. She led Kade into the room and flipped the latch on the door.
She noticed how he scanned the room, and smiled. “Looking for an escape route?”
“Looking for cameras and peepholes,” he said.
Fiona was startled. “What?”
“You know there have to be some.”
“I don’t know that.”
Kade gave her a hot look. “Believe what you need to.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means I’ll make sure they don’t have anything they can sell tickets to.”
Before she could reply, he strode toward her, his eyes dark with intent. Even though his hands were bound behind his back still, he quickly backed her into a corner again. Then he kissed her with the same passionate intensity, making Fiona even hotter than she was already. She wound her hands into his hair and held him closer, rubbing herself against him like she’d never get enough. Her sex was wet and throbbing, and she’d just decided that she’d undo his pants when he broke their kiss.
To her astonishment, he spun around, trapping her behind him and crowding her into the corner. He braced his legs against the floor, imprisoning her with his muscled strength. All she could see was the broad expanse of his back. All she could feel was his body trapping her into the corner.
“What are you doing?”
“Ensuring that no one sees anything important,” he murmured.
“I don’t think...” Fiona could hardly comprehend Kade’s words—because he was pulling up her sarong in increments. His wrists were bound, but his fingers ruched up the fabric. Slowly. Steadily. Relentlessly. She was pressed into the wall, her position making her more keenly aware of the power and size of his body, and his hands were making her available to his touch.
