To say I wasn’t looking forward to telling my mom I lost my costume was an understatement.

Just as I opened the door I saw mom, dad, Amanda settled on the table ready for dinner with the Harrisons.

Yep that’s right the Harrisons, as in Maddie’s family.

“Oh you’re back sweetie,” Mom greeted me.

“Yeah, good evening everyone,” I greeted awkwardly still in shock.

“Good evening,” they all replied at different times.

“Let me take my stuff upstairs and I’ll be right back,” I told them.
