Chapter Fourteen

Iain knew exactly when Luna lost control. Her entire body stiffened and yet her legs shook. Aware she could hurt herself if not supported, he quickly moved around the front of the cross and brought her to lean on him. He was mindful of Sam settling Josie on the couch, tucking a blanket around her before he came over to Iain’s side.

“Hey, brother, let me help you.”

Sam unclipped the cuffs from around Luna’s wrists and draped a fluffy blanket over her shoulders. Normally, he’d take offense with another Dom stepping in. In his mind, it was almost as if they thought he couldn’t take care of his sub. But this was Sam. His friend knew his hands were full and was just being helpful. Luckily for Iain, he’d been determined to become the best Dom he could and knew for him it was the perfect way to learn. He figured the only way for him to truly understand how a submissive felt, how they might react or how hard a scene could be was to go through it. So yes, he’d been flogged. He’d had to learn to control his orgasms. He’d been through the whole gamut a submissive would have to go through. Despite what Mistress Betsy and Sir Colin put him through, he’d been eternally grateful and held some fond memories of his training. He’d even missed the sessions, not so much what was done, but the aftercare. It had been because of them, he was big on making sure submissives in the club received proper aftercare, at all times.

Feeling Luna begin to stir, he reached over for one of the bottles of water and the peeled orange Sam had put on the table nearby.
