“Let’s get out of here.” It wasn’t very kind of me to leave her in such a state. She was ready to fuck and so far gone I was sure if I pushed her back against the wall she wouldn’t stop me, but since I still had a little bit of control left, I knew it was too risky.

We barely said our goodbyes to any who stopped us on the way out. I’d say we were there for an hour tops and once again there were cameras everywhere as we made it to the car and was seated. No doubt our picture would be all over the damn net by tomorrow morning. Questions will be asked no doubt, but I had no intentions on letting those vultures anywhere near my fucking business. I just wanted it known that she was now under my protection.

I should’ve taken her home, given us both time to cool down, but I wasn’t ready to let her go yet tonight. Instead I had the driver take us to a late night bistro that was quite out of the way off the beaten path, but was well renowned not only for its excellent menu, but its discretion and the privacy afforded by its private rooms. It usually required a reservation way in advance, but I had no doubt that we would be accepted.

We were shown to one of the three private rooms at my insistence and left on our own. I knew that no one would come within hearing distance unless summoned by the little button on the side of the table. We could order from the screen without having to deal with another human being if we so chose.

“You’re being very quiet, something on your mind?” She was looking around the room and I was sure if she hadn’t been here before, she had most definitely heard of it. Everyone who was anyone had been here at least once in their lifetime. More than one Hollywood dream had been made or broken behind these walls in the past thirty years.

“Why did you bring me here?” Should I tell her the raw truth, or should I beat around the bush to spare her sensibilities? Like fuck!

“Because if I take you to my place we’ll be fucking before the night is through and you’re not ready for that. Now what do you want to eat?”

I didn’t look up at her sharply indrawn breath but kept my attention on the menu screen. Since she didn’t answer, I chose for both of us. Just an antipasto of cheeses, olives and tomatoes in come kind of vinaigrette, and a bottle of wine.

I put in the order and a time showed up. Half an hour for the food five minutes for the wine. Time enough. I was very aware of the fact that I was paying for her company and not wanting her to blur the lines I had to be very careful with my approach.

That is why when I turned back to her I said nothing as I read her eyes.
