Chapter 3

Her internal clock woke her as usual at five-thirty. She hadn’t gone to sleep more than an hour ago and her body screamed for her to close her eyes and return to that blessed state, but better demons prevailed. She had to get out of here. She could not be here when he woke up.

Her one night of fucking was over and damn, but it had been worth it.

Geneva slipped from the bed and felt around on the floor of the dark room for her dress. She vaguely remembered Brad tossing it this direction when she’d stripped it off for him.
