Chapter 3

Freddy had a few drinks the night of the bachelor party. After what Calvin had told him the night before, he was still trying to wrap his brain around everything. He just couldn’t picture it. How could his wife do something like that behind his back and then come home to him at night? Freddy had all kinds of things playing in his mind, but he wasn’t sure what all was true. What he did know was that he was not ready to divorce her, so he had to figure out what it was that she was doing at the club. Freddy tried to forget that his friend had seen her completely naked. That was something that he was just going to have to save for another time to worry about.

Calvin told him that she hadn’t done much to any other guy and that no one was allowed to even touch her there at the club. It made Freddy feel a little better, but the idea that so many men saw her that way was a lot to take in and he was finding that part one of it the hardest parts to get past. The fact that she had lied to him was on top of the list, but that too was something that he could get over. What he couldn’t get over was if she was doing more than just dancing. Dancing was bad enough, but more than that, he wanted to know if his wife was still being faithful, even if she is being a lying bitch at the moment.

He came up with a plan and since Calvin was already involved heavily, Freddy decided that he might as well rope him in to help him out and fix what was going on with them. There were too many people that he trusted more, but Freddy didn’t want anyone else to know that Cassie wasn’t as perfect as she had seemed.

When Calvin came down the day after the wedding, Freddy was ready to play out his plan. There was a side of him that didn’t want to do it. It was like tempting fate, but there was another part of him that had to know. He had to know if she was, but also if she would. While he hated the idea of her out in such a way, it was far better than the idea of her with another man for a few extra dollars. The money hadn’t even gone through his mind yet, it was too full of everything else.

“So what is this plan you keep talking about?”

“Are you sure you are willing to help? I will say it only one more time that I am not sure how it will go. I don’t want you to go through with it if she is willing. I can’t stress that enough.” Just the idea of him touching his wife made most of the muscles in his body tense up like he was about to kill him.

“I get it.
