felt the sofa shift under the extra weight. Then the gentle feeling of fingers playing in his hair. He stifled a soft, sensual moan of pleasure.

"Are you hurting for money?" Mason asked in a gentle tone.

Slitting open one eye, Dimitri checked him out and then closed it again. "It's nice to have a little extra. Besides, Cameron needed the extra pair of hands. One of the cooks walked out without notice. I trade off with another chef to fill in the hours until they can hire and train someone new."

"Until then?"

"Caffeine and energy drinks. I've done it before."

"Should I leave and let you take a nap?"

Reaching out, Dimitri found and clutched Mason's

free hand, tugged it back to his lap. He felt his heart soften toward the man and his concern, "Nope, stay here with us,"

he said. He tilted and leaned against Mason's broad shoulder. He felt Mason's cheek against his hair.

"Sleep, Dimitri."

"Hmm, would enjoy a warm nap against your

shoulder." As he began to slide into a light slumber against Mason's warm body, the light trill of his cell phone disturbed the peacefulness settling over them. He cracked open one eyelid and cursed when the trilling sounded again.

"Can you ignore it?" Mason asked.
