It had been ten days since their visit with Zane, and the man had yet to come back and help Rory with the spell. Every day Adam and Marcus would meet with Rory for hours, and they would teach him how to use his grimoire and how to use and control his powers. He was getting good at the basics of his witchcraft and a few more complicated spells. He was a quick learner, and Adam was very proud of him.
He and Viktor continued to get to know each other and to play. He loved when Viktor tied him to their bed and teased his body with light, sensual touches. He also loved it when Viktor would tie his hands above his head to a pulley in the ceiling and then flog him. After every session, Viktor would hold him and take care of him for hours, and then he would make love to him and whisper beautiful words. He loved Viktor with all his heart. He knew how to take care of Adam’s every need, not only as his submissive but as his mate. He nourished both those parts of Adam, and in return, Adam made sure he nourished both in Viktor.
“Adam, is this the spell that will help me travel like Zane did?” Rory asked, bringing Adam out of his thoughts.
He moved to Rory’s side and peered at the page. “Yes, that is the one. But may I suggest you go short distances first before you try to go farther?”
“Good idea. I don’t think my mates would appreciate me disappearing again,” Rory said with a giggle.
“No, they wouldn’t,” Adam said.
“Hey, I think I found something that you both might be interested in,” Marcus said as he entered the room.
“You’re late today. Is everything okay?” Rory asked.
“Yeah, it’s fine. I was just moving into my new apartment. Alpha Angel gave me permission to stay in Sanctuary for as long as I like,” he answered with a smile.
“Oh, that’s great, Marcus. Welcome to Sanctuary and the Angel Pack,” Rory said and gave him a hug.
“Thanks. It’s kind of strange. I’m a witch, but I’m part of a pack now,” he said with a laugh.
“Congratulations, Marcus. So what did you want to show us?” Adam asked.
“I had my mom get all my stuff together and send it over. She included an old witch history book with my stuff and told me that it may help us to understand how Adam can have a mate, even though he’s a familiar. So I started to go through it last night, and I came across this,” he said as he sat on the couch, laid the book on the table, and pointed to a page.
Rory and Adam came over and sat on either side of him and looked at what he pointed at. Adam’s eyebrows rose in shock and then lowered and created a deep V as his eyes filled with confusion. “So what exactly does this mean?”
“I called my mom and asked her the same thing.
