Everything changed as soon as Deena left the van. It was like a switch had gone on. We were close to our next stop, and the crackle of finality was in the air. What amazed me was even in the seriousness of what was happening, the sexual tension was battling for first place in the priority department.

I was sewing hidden flexible blades into Jones’ jacket arm. I looked and saw Ginger changing in the back of the van. When he saw me watching, he slowed down. I almost stitched my fingers to the fabric when he bent down exposing his pert ass.

“I can see you in the mirror, Ginger,” Jones shouted. “You keep that up and I’ll plow that ass.”

I chuckled at Ginger’s yelp but secretly wanted to see Jones keep that promise.

“When we get to this next location, same rules apply. Ginger, stay in the van. They only know Jones and I are in this. Anyone gets on board…”

“I know,” Ginger answered as he finished dressing. “I go in the incomplete bathroom and pray the bad guys aren’t smart enough to realize you put in two showers.”

I narrowed my eyes. “I’m gonna smack that ass before Jones plows it if you sass me.”

Ginger laughed and then shrugged. “I might just beg for you both then.” He winked and slipped his Avengers shirt on.

Damn that guy.
