Cal must’ve fallen asleep while watching TV shows on his laptop. He jerked awake with his headphones still on and his computer open, a car chase playing itself out on screen. As he catalogued the where, what and how as he usually did when waking up a bit disoriented, he realized it was the light knocking on his door that had brought him out of slumber. He went to open the door, and there before him stood an unsteady Sean with a shy smile, eyes looking straight at Cal’s bare chest.
“Hi. Um, can I talk to you for a sec?” Sean slurred his words, clearly drunk.
“You drunk?”
“Um, yeah.”
“Cassie drunk?”
“Um, yeah.”
“She asleep?”
“Um, yeah.”
Cal could actually hear her snoring from the other room. She must’ve passed out on the couch. His little sister was a petite thing, feisty, but tiny. But when she was dead to the world, she could snore like a three-hundred pound bear—of the gay persuasion, not of the animal-out-in-the-wild kind.
“Sean, you should drink some water, take a couple aspirin and crash on Cassie’s bed. Let’s talk in the morning.” Letting an inebriated Sean into his room while he was only half-dressed was not a good idea. Cal was already feeling horny, but all night he had been feeling something else, something more, when it came to his little sister’s best friend, and he needed to not be having these feelings.
Sean closed the inches between the two of them and looked up at Cal through unbelievably long, thick lashes. Cal was overwhelmed by the smell of him so close, the mixture of liquor on his breath and Sean’s own scent on his skin. Cal couldn’t help his heart rate picking up and his uncontrolled breathing. He felt like a desperate teenager getting his first boner.
As Sean leaned in and up on his toes, Cal couldn’t stop himself from leaning down to meet him.
“Cal,” Sean whispered. “I’m not that kid who needs saving.”
Cal wrapped his hand around Sean’s neck, holding his gaze. “I know.”
Before he could talk himself out of this very, very bad idea, he pressed his lips to Sean’s. God, those pouty, full, soft lips. He closed his eyes and let his tongue sweep over them to ask for permission into Sean’s hot mouth. Sean was so receptive, and he emanated sheer wanting. Cal’s tongue swept in and reached for every bit of Sean’s mouth. Fuck, he’d try for the tonsils and down his throat if it were possible. He’d never wanted someone so much.
Sean moaned, the sexiest sound Cal had ever heard. He tasted of booze and desire. Cal’s free hand was roaming down Sean’s back and landed on his tight ass. He left it there, squeezing and kneading.
When he felt he couldn’t go a second longer without taking a breath or passing out, Cal reluctantly pulled away.
Sean responded with a whimper and leaned his head to expose his neck, begging for more. Cal ran his tongue up the length of Sean’s neck. The taste of him was driving him crazy.
