CHAPTER 12

Maria showed me to a pleasant room that is to be my official one during my stay. It is certainly luxurious and appears to have everything a girl could wish for.

The huge bed looks inviting and there is a separate closet filled with everything I need, leading on to a luxurious bathroom.

Maria smiles warmly as she shows me everything, and I wonder what she knows. Logan told me that I’m the first lady he has entertained here, and judging by the sparkle in her eyes, she believes its much more than it is.

She leaves me to it, and I decide to have a long soak in the tub while I consider my situation.

There is every kind of bath oil to choose from and when I finally sink into the hot, cleansing water, it’s so good.

For the first time since I arrived, I am alone and thinking about Logan brings a smile to my lips. He is everything I love in a man, despite his controlling ways. He has shown me a side to him that I kind of like. He relaxed and opened up a little before the shutters came down after my mistake at breakfast.

I wonder what I’ll discover about him today. What he has in mind intrigues me, and I wonder if I really can play at being the perfect sub before I slip up again. And what did he mean by punishing me?

I’m not sure why that excites me so much.

After the welcome bath, I get back to the room and smile at the clothes laid out on the bed .

A short, black leather skirt and black lacy camisole are laid out next to some killer heels. There is no underwear, and the outfit looks every dominant’s dream.

As I dress, I wonder what he has in store today.

Once I’m ready, I take up my position outside the door, just praying that Maria doesn’t come by and see me. Clasping my hands behind my back, I stare down at the floor.

It must be twenty minutes later footsteps approach and my heart races in anticipation.

My heart is racing but I keep my eyes firmly lowered while I wait for further instructions.

A soft laugh greets me, and then his hand touches the top of my head.

“You may stand, Angel, and let me look at you.”

As I do as he asks, I keep my head lowered until he lifts my chin to face him. I catch my breath at the desire in his eyes as he looks at me with delicious intent.

“You look good enough to eat my Angel. I might just do that later.”

He grins and I resist from smiling back at him. He appears to be back to playful Logan, which is the one I love the most, so I’m doing nothing to change that.

He is looking super-hot as always, wearing black jeans with a tight–fitting white t–shirt. His tattoos cover his upper arms and I long to run my hands over them. I look with interest when
