Geotagging in Lightroom

Lightroom can pull the location data from a reference photo:

Select the photos you wish to tag, as well as the reference photo.

Click the reference photo to make it the target image; doing so identifies the photo as the source of the GPS data.

Click the Sync Metadata button or choose Metadata > Sync Metadata.

In the dialog that appears (Figure 33), locate the Camera Info section and select the checkbox for GPS (and Altitude, if a value is present). I usually click the Check None button first so I don’t inadvertently copy other metadata. Figure 33: Lightroom syncs selected metadata between photos.

Click the Synchronize button to tag the other selected photos with the GPS data.
