Chapter Fourteen

JAMIE RINSED his mouth under the jet and then regarded himself in the mirror above the sink.

What the fuck did I just do?

He cupped his hands under the faucet and splashed cold water onto his face, but that did little to improve the situation. He could still feel Guy’s dick grinding against him, could still smell that sharp odor when he’d creamed his jeans.

How can I face him after that? Jamie bowed his head and leaned against the cold porcelain.

The door banged open. “Did I just see what I think I saw?”

Jamie slowly raised his head to see a clearly excited Ryan staring at him in the mirror. “Well, that depends on what you saw.”

Ryan smirked. “You, with Guy’s tongue down your throat.” He looked at Jamie closely, and his expression altered instantly. “Oh wow. Are you okay?”

Jamie straightened. “Sure. I’m never going to drink again, and tomorrow I’d better find someplace else to live.”

Ryan moved to stand beside him and rubbed gentle circles on Jamie’s back. “Why?”

Jamie opened his eyes wide. “Er, you saw.”

“Uh-huh, and from where I was standing, Guy looked like he was having a ball.” Ryan sniffed the air, and his gaze flickered down toward Jamie’s crotch.

Jamie groaned, his face tingling. “Don’t. Just… don’t. I still have to do the walk of shame, through all those guys who watched me….” The first thing he was going to do when he got home was take a shower. Maybe it would wash away some of his humiliation too.

Ryan sighed. “Okay, two points. Now you know never to mix your drinks.” He held up his hands. “I know, I know, some of that is on me, but hell, you’re only twenty-one once. And secondly, maybe it’s not going to be as bad as you think it is.” He shook his head. “I have to tell you, Jamie, that was fucking hot.”

Another groan escaped his lips. “Please, can we not talk about it?”

“Sure. You want to go and sit down for a while?”

Jamie shook his head. “I want to go home.”

Ryan nodded. “Then let’s walk out there together, and you can tell Guy that.” Jamie grimaced, and Ryan put his arm around Jamie’s shoulder. “It’ll be fine. Trust me.”

Jamie narrowed his gaze. “I trusted you tonight and look where it got me.” When Ryan’s face tightened, Jamie could have kicked himself. “I’m sorry. This is not your fault. Let’s just get out of here so I can put this birthday behind me, okay?”

Ryan nodded and handed him a paper towel. “Dry your face, birthday boy.”

Jamie did as instructed, and then they headed for the door. He took a deep breath before pushing down on the handle.

I really fucked this up, didn’t I?
