• Grupo Gestor agrees a provisional vision and mission promoting a tri-sector partnership model to achieve sustainable development in Casanare based on an agriculture and livestock economy

2001

• Chamber of Commerce joins the Grupo Gestor at the beginning of 2001 • BPXC leads in establishing a School for Leadership and Governance • Work commences on the Nunchia-Morcote road

• Casanare departmental government joins Grupo Gestor • First leadership course held for more than 200 leaders from government, civil society, BPXC and schools

• Grupo Gestor agrees a more developed vision, mission and route map to promote a tri-sector partnership model to achieve sustainable development in Casanare

2002 to the present

• Departmental government becomes an active member of Group Gestor, and a new formal governance structure is agreed • Departmental government provides resources to widen the reach of the School for Leadership and Governance programme, and regional academic institutions begin to participate • The Nunchia-Morcote road is completed, with no incidents of sabotage to date
