Chapter 8

The concerned look on Collin’s face brought Bre back into the moment. She looked down to discover they were both now sitting in a huge puddle on the bed. But that didn’t seem to be what he was worried about. He watched her closely as tears rolled down her face.

She’d always heard about people who cried when they orgasmed, but this was the first time it had ever happened to her. She wasn’t quite sure what to think about it.

“Did I do something wrong?” Collin asked, prompting her again.

She shook her head.

“No! That was…” She didn’t even know how to put it. “…perfect. That was perfect.”

A grin crept its way across his face.

“You made a bit of a mess,” he said, looking down at the puddle. “I’ve never been with a woman who squirted before.”

“Me neither,” Bre admitted. Apparently crying wasn’t the only first she’d had tonight. Hopefully it didn’t gross him out too much. “That’s never happened before.”

“I’ll take it as a compliment.”

Thankfully, Collin didn’t make the situation any more awkward. Together they changed the sheets, using a spare set they found in the linen hutches. While they discarded the old sheets and tucked in the new ones there were a few moments that were perfect for her to tease him some more, but Bre couldn’t bring herself to do it. She didn’t exactly know why she was feeling insecure about what happened—all she knew was that Collin had given her the best orgasm of her life and she was having a hard time thinking about anything else.

“You’re wasting your talents working for Logan,” she said, as they finished putting new casings on the pillows.

“Is that right?”

“House wives would pay you a fortune to teach their husbands how to do what you do.”

“I’ll have to bring it up with Logan in my next performance review. He’ll obviously want to give me more responsibilities.”

“With that kind of dedication I’m sure you can handle anything.”

“Does that mean I can use you as a reference?”

She smirked.

“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I’m taking this weekend one day at a time.”

That seemed to calm him down a bit. Collin had been a lot of fun so far, but Bre wasn’t looking to settle down. Part of her doubted she’d ever want a serious relationship with someone. It just wasn’t something she could picture in her future.

They pulled the fresh sheets back and climbed in next to each other—these beds were sinfully comfortable. And, she had to admit, lying next to the human-equivalent of a furnace had its perks. She was always so cold!

“I will say… either you’ve had a lot of practice, or you’re the most naturally talented person I’ve ever been with.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever been naturally talented at a single thing my entire life.” He caught himself and his face took on a serious look. “I’m sorry. That makes me sound like I sleep around.”

Bre shook her head and waved off his fear.

“Don’t be sorry. I’d love to hear about your other partners.
