wanted. It was just a lucky coincidence that I stopped to get the junk
food.” Russ set the bag aside and sat back on the sofa, and Peter
moved his chair and set the brakes, shifting onto the sofa as well.
Russ got up to put in the DVD and then sat back down. As soon as the
movie started, Russ moved closer to him, an arm around his shoulder,
and Peter rested his head on Russ’s shoulder, letting the thoughts
about his mother fade to the background for now.
By the time Achilles and Hector were having their epic sword
fight, Peter had decided what he wanted to do and finally let himself
just enjoy the movie, but he didn’t remember much more of it. He
woke in time to see the storming of Troy, Russ’s arms wrapped
around him. They’d sort of shifted on the sofa, with Peter resting his
head on Russ as his pillow. Thankfully, Russ didn’t seem to mind. By
the time the move ended a short time later, Peter had completely lost
interest, since Russ was kissing him, and he could have cared less
about who lived or died in the movie.
Russ reached around him and used the remote to turn off the
television before once again taking Peter’s mouth in a kiss that
threatened to switch off his brain. Every fiber of Peter’s being silently
begged for Russ to go for more and not stop. Every time Russ came
up for air, Peter held his breath waiting to see if this would end.
As Russ lifted Peter’s head and stood up, he did his best and
failed to stifle the groan that began in his toes. Russ grabbed a small
pillow from one of the chairs and placed it on the end of the sofa
before positioning Peter’s head on it. Peter watched as Russ moved in
slow motion, straddling his body before kissing him hard. Peter pulled
Russ closer to him, and he stopped, peering down into Peter’s eyes. “I
don’t want to hurt you,” Russ said softly.
“I’m not a doll,” Peter answered, and he tightened his hug,
holding Russ to him as they went back to kissing. Russ tasted like
cookies and beer followed by warmth and sunshine. Peter felt himself
shivering with excitement as Russ kept kissing, his lips tugging and
nibbling on Peter’s.
It had been so long, Peter could barely remember what to do, but
Russ definitely seemed to know. Hell, Russ was a master kisser, so
much so that Peter barely noticed that his shirt had been untucked
until Russ’s hand moved beneath it to stroke his stomach. “Is this
okay?” Russ asked, moving his hand higher, lightly plucking one of
Peter’s nipples.
