4. Major Chords, Minor Chords

Now that we've gotten that all out of the way let's start playing! Before we go on to full major and minor chords we are going to start off with the most basic versions of C major, E minor and G major chords that are possible to play, because it only utilizes one finger! This will be done so that you're at least getting some positive feedback to start with when first playing. If you are able to do this with ease then feel free to move onto the next section.

C Major

Here is half of a C major chord, which as previous stated only uses one finger to play! Remember, your third finger is your ring finger, the first row contains the 1st frets, so strum from the 4th string down and there we go!

G major
