Stage 5: choose your containers

When you don't have enough soil, you may have to put all your plants in containers. Furthermore, if you cannot do the hard work required for digging holes and amending the soil, containers may be the only way to produce your cannabis outside. You may place the container on decks, patios, rooftops and many other locations, without needing a suitable patch of earth for the garden. You should take advantage of the Sun to shield them from extreme heat or Wind, if necessary, during the day. You can also use indoor cannabis nutrients as you use pre-premixed soil. It takes plenty of devaluation from your plants to fertilise.

However, plants grown in pots, containers, or barrels would possibly be smaller than plants planted in the soil, as their root growth is limited to container size. In the general sense, the size of the pot can decide the plant size, but when appropriate techniques are used, large plants may be grown in small containers. 5-gallon pots are usually ideal for outdoor plants of small to medium size, with 10-gallon pots or larger ones being suitable for large plants. You may want to protect your plants' roots during warm weather from overheating, regardless of size, as the pots will get heated in the direct sunlight quickly. This will severely constrain your plants' growth, so make sure you take shade when the Sun is high in the sky.
