You can prepackage these macronutrients in liquid or powder form (if you have an unadded soil mixture), but some organic "super soils" contain them already in adequate quantities.

Some plant strains simply need more calcium than others to grow solid, nutritious nuts. Conduct a little research on the specific strain you grow. This process helps you familiarize yourself with and choose the kind of "food nutrients" it requires.

8th Step: Marijuana LOVE Water Plants!

It is a common misconception among rookie growers that the more water you get, the better. Although this is real, to a certain extent, yet if there is too much water, it can be harmful to the growth of your indoor marijuana plants and probably destroy them!

Some obvious things decide the watering frequency and the amount you provide. These include the size of the plant and the stage in which it is grown. For example, in vegetative development, marijuana plants do not need as much watering as in the flowering process as mature plants. However, when determining how much water to give and how often, there is no exact science.

For example, many people only want to water when the leaves start to drop dramatically. After all, over-saturated root systems are susceptible to fungal diseases, particularly in marijuana plants. Make sure that your container is punched with a hole so that the water will drain out. Try to humidify the soil instead of saturating it while watering.

Lastly, many growers fill up tap water in a jar or spray bottle. Bear in mind that if there are too many unfiltered minerals or chlorine, this can hurt plants. You may want to pick or at least filter an alternative before you apply it to your soil. Mineral-charged tap water in the marijuana root systems may cause excessive build-ups, leading to harmful root diseases.

9th Step: Create time to look after your plant (every single day!)

DIY indoor growers cannot track their plants 24/7. However, by reserving a few minutes a day, you can give sufficient care to your plants. Routine inspections are important, for example, to ensure that factors like temperature, humidity, pH, and water levels are correct.

Also, look out for your crop for male plants. If You need to grow high-THC buds, you just want female plants in your crop. It might cause problems if you have a male in your crop.

When the bags of pollen have reached maturity, they fertilize the females. At this stage, they are going to begin to grow seeds instead of buds. Although the plants do not die, they have destroyed their ability to grow high-THC buds. If you grow from seed, you have to wait for the vegetative stage. When the plants mature, they grow reproductive parts at the nodes.

This is when you can isolate and remove the male plants. Male plants may look like tiny peas clusters; these are pollen bags. Female plants may have sharper calyxes in the early stages. Those who grow from female clones or feminized seeds before purchase should not be concerned with male plants.
