Malta lay in the darkness for a long time. She heard the door creak open and something slide in. She closed her eyes, assuming the worst, but nothing seemed to stir. When the door opened again, she sat up quickly. She saw Vito with a glass in his hand.

“Just slipping you some grub, that's all,” he said.

“You want to rape me too?” she asked coldly.

“Not my thing,” he said. “Eat.”

While she could dream, she dreamt she was sliding down a water slide, with Greg on top and the old man on the bottom, sliding down and down and wishing she'd hit the lake at the bottom, but never getting there. She could hear Greg laughing and the old man screaming. Putting her hands over her ears, wishing the sounds away. And then in the next image, making love with Greg, willingly, him kissing her stomach with warm, wet kisses. The old man watching and whizzing into the toilet.
