Chapter Eight

Richard fought the comfort that Phillip’s embracing hands provided. He didn’t want to feel this way. He didn’t want to give into the emotions that tugged at him so uncontrollably. Everything inside his mind told him to push Phillip away, leave, and never look back. Despite this, his body and heart wouldn’t allow it.

The knowledge of that pissed him off more than he was willing to admit. He wanted the strength to walk away from this man. He didn’t want to be weak to the man who had captured his attention so many years earlier. He didn’t want to be putty in his hands, completely void of any self-control capable of allowing him to put one foot in front of the other.

God help him if he wasn’t though. The warmth of Phillip’s lips pressed firmly against his and erased any fight that he may have had. A second later he felt the warm glide of Phillip’s tongue sweep across his lips and gently pry them apart. With little hesitation he found himself opening for Phillip. Like two ships passing in the night it didn’t take long for the sexy football player to find his way inside the dark cavern of his mouth.

The first stroke of their tongues shot a jolt of electricity through his body. Its intensity incinerated any argument or protest he may have had left in his swirling mind then made its way down to his heart, covering it with a warm blanket of bliss before it made its way further south.
