PS Excitement! I’m on the short list for the next doctor who!

Campbell’s handwritten, illustrated outline persuaded Wright to commission the play, but it was not produced – and Sylvester McCoy became the seventh Doctor Who.

Campbell would, however, be an important contributor to the Richard Eyre and Trevor Nunn tenures, writing and performing in four Cottesloe shows, including Violin Time (1996) and Ken Campbell’s History of Comedy (2000).
