When blitzing from Cochise, the outside alignment of Sam and Geronimo makes it very difficult to cover the #3 receiver and adjust to motion. The best man coverage to use with Cochise blitzes involves the strong safety and Rover. From their inside alignment, they can make the adjustments on #3 and can also give added run support when Mike and Will are involved in blitzes. The following man coverages are used when blitzing from Cochise:
