Community is such a big part of living a more sustainable life, because it helps you to share your thoughts and feelings, and find something to get involved in. Ask questions. Find out what your kids’ school is doing, and whether they could do with help becoming more sustainable. Think about your office – is there anything they could be doing differently? Do they recycle the coffee pods, for example? Could they be doing more small things, and just caring more? It’s about recognising we are only guardians of this lovely earth, and acknowledging that it does matter what we do. Being around positive people who don’t think caring about these things is extreme really helps.
