Chapter 7
Marina
* * *
Three days go by. They are the best and worst days of my life. Dominic makes it clear that he has no intention of letting me go. I am not even permitted to leave the room with the cage, though he hasn’t put me back in it. I should be grateful for that, I suppose.
Usually I would be working twelve-hour shifts, aching feet and sore back, arms piled down with rich dishes for customers to enjoy. It’s hard work, but I never appreciated just how nice it was to have something to do. In my daddy’s captivity, I have very little to do and as the fear and strangeness of my imprisonment begins to wear off and my fear of Dominic starts to fade, I look for ways to entertain myself.
It starts by leaving my room. I know I’m not supposed to. He’s been very clear on that fact multiple times. But when I try the door, I find that it isn’t locked. I could just turn the handle and walk right out of here. A little bubble of nervous excitement begins to rise in my belly. For three days, this room and the little en-suite beside it have been my world. He allows me the freedom to bathe myself as necessary, keeping my pussy and ass nice and clean for Daddy.
Maybe I’m already getting spoiled. I wanted Dominic for so long before this and now I have him every day. He comes to me often, always with new treats and toys. There’s a massive big screen television on the wall, and a closet full of dresses finer than any I’ve ever worn before. They’re the sort of clothes you see celebrities wearing on red carpets, artistic, avant-garde gowns that only mock me because I’d be the definition of all dressed up and nowhere to go if I put them on, and Dominic always insists on my nudity whenever he is with me. He asked me about my hobbies. I told him I didn’t have any, but he must have gone through my apartment, because he has brought me near endless copies of the romance novels that used to lie scattered through my bedroom, dog-eared from frequent reading. I’m not as interested in them now that I have the man of my dreams—or rather, now that he has me.
There should probably be enough for me in the room, but four walls will never hold a curious little girl’s attention for long and inevitably, after hours of false starts, looking at the handle, touching it, then backing away again, I open the door.
“What do you think you’re doing!” Dominic’s voice lashes against my ears.
I have barely peeked into the hall, but he’s already striding toward me, his lean, powerful frame clad in one of his customary suits, a scowl on his handsome features.
I squeak and shut the door quickly, but he’s already there, trying to open it. I attempt to stop him by holding the handle, but he’s
