CHAPTER 13

Stella awoke with the dawn, struggling to clear the fog from her mind. She shifted and realized that intentions be damned, sides of the bed had not been observed. She must have rolled in the night, and so had he, because she opened her eyes to find herself being spooned in the middle of the bed. His arm lay heavy across her waist. She took a moment to enjoy that weight, the pleasure of lying still with a man, the heat of his body infusing hers. Lulled into the moment, she arched her back in a stretch, gently rocking her hips back, glorying in the feel of his morning arousal pressing back against her ass. Tempting, very tempting, but she would respect his wishes to go slow. She rolled herself out of bed and headed for the shower.
