Chapter Fourteen

The kiss was unexpected for both of them. Chris hadn’t intended to go this far, but it was beginning to feel so natural it was worse than difficult to ignore those lips. He wanted to kiss Jamie. Thankfully Jamie wanted him too, as he tipped in answer and circled Chris’s neck with his arms, drawing them together.

Chris looped his arms around Jamie and hugged him close, savoring as well as drowning in the younger man’s heat. Jamie whimpered, that same throaty sound he’d made before when Chris had captured him against the wall at the clinic. It drove him out of his mind. Chris moaned. Jamie was like spun sugar and twice as sweet, delicate-looking yet there was more to him than met the eye. A backbone of steel. All of Jamie called to Chris like a wicked temptation.

Gliding from his lips, Chris panted, trying to catch his breath. “I have to make a small change.”

“Hmm,” Jamie murmured drowsily. His head rolled loosely on his neck as Chris investigated, roaming over skin and pulse points with his mouth.

“I definitely love kissing you.”

Jamie’s head sank forward and burrowed into him. Chris felt Jamie rocking his forehead on Chris’s shoulder, likely in denial. Chris knew those kisses would be his downfall for the rest of his life, and he was perfectly okay with that. Fingers danced into the length of his hair, teasing at Chris’s nerves with flicks of need.

He nibbled on a soft earlobe, soaking up the shiver that flew down Jamie’s frame. Tucking Jamie just a hair closer, Chris brought their pelvises together, rocking them.

Jamie gasped, drawing to a moan. The demanding pulse of flesh captured between them surged against Chris’s body. Needing.

“Jamie.” He nipped at the soft spot beneath the earlobe he’d just tortured. Chris wanted to roam, lick, and devour every square inch of this man’s body. Holding him steady, he palmed the tight rounds of his ass and hesitated, waiting for resistance or rejection. Jamie only wiggled closer. Hefting his lighter frame against his chest, Chris carried him to the other side of the barn where the grass was thickest. Jamie hooked his legs around Chris’s waist, clinging to him. The press of his cock in his jeans was killing Chris where Jamie rubbed into his abdomen with each stride. He couldn’t stop sucking and nibbling on Jamie’s neck.

A moment later he knelt carefully, gliding Jamie to stretch out in the soft grass. “You look incredible right there, like this.”

Jamie watched him with cautious, bright eyes. Chris didn’t blame him for the doubts.

“Never hurt you, Jamie,” he said, hanging over him on flat palms.

“I think I believe you.” He tilted his chin, not losing Chris’s gaze. Wariness? Yes. Fear? No.

Jamie was quite a few inches shorter than Chris, and lying together their lengths were perfect when he shifted to rest by Jamie’s side. Chris nuzzled close, amazed when Jamie’s eyes fluttered and a slow, languid sigh slipped from him. He trusted Chris more than he realized. The realization soared within Chris.
