STEP 4 Seal.

Once dry, brush a thin coat of glazing medium over the color to seal it.

STEP 5 Distress.

Distress the edges of your wood substrate with a Dremel tool. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and experiment with different attachments for different effects.

STEP 6 Sparkle and Seal.

Add some sparkle by mixing diamond glaze with glitter and brushing it on. Add buttons, beads or anything you like to enhance your finished piece. To ensure longevity, seal your piece with workable fixative. Do this in a well-ventilated area.
