Chapter 4

Linda and Mrs. Harrison was waiting for Lisa when she went into the office upstairs. She had a smile on her face when she saw them.

“Now before we get started I want you to know that Mrs. Harrison and I have decided to pay twenty dollars an hour to start. If you do good on this project we are going to keep you on. Don't feel as if you are under pressure because I know that you are going to do an awesome job for us. We are going to go to my studio now and start on the commercial that we want to air.” Linda told her, walking towards the door and heading out.

Lisa was going to wait for Mrs. Harrison before she walked out of the office. She wasn't sure what to do.

“I'm not going. I have things that I need to do here. You have fun.” Mrs. Harrison told her, giving her a smile and knowing that by the end of the month she was going to be out of the factory all together and working for Linda permanent.

Lisa nodded her head and smiled back at her leaving the office door open as she walked out, catching up with Linda and she got in her car.

“You looked really nice at the meeting today. I want you to try on some clothes that will go good with the shoes. The guys will be looking more at your figure than your shoes I think.” Linda laughed, looking her over as she drove down the road.

“Yeah, it was the only dress I had. I think it's a little too short if you ask me.” Lisa giggled, thinking that the dress really was too short for her. She had all she could do to try and yank it down while she stood up to address the clients around the table.

“You won't have to worry about another dress unless we are selling high heels and you've worked the production line so you know how many high heels we produce.” Linda pointed out to her.

“Not many if none at all.” Lisa thought quickly over the three years that she had been working there. She didn't know that there was going to be a test on the way to the studio.

“Right. We've never done a line of high heels and I won't. As good as I look in them I hate wearing them.” Linda admitted to her.

“Glad I don't have to worry about dresses then.” Lisa laughed, feeling better about her new job.

“Even if the new job doesn't work out I will find you something. We have all sorts of modeling jobs and you have the figure for them.” Linda complimented her, making her blush slightly.

“Thank you. I pride myself on my figure.” Lisa nodded her head, wanting her to know that she took care of her body as much as she cared about her work.

“You always want to take care of your body.” Linda stated firmly. She didn't have anyone on her team that looked like stick figures and she wasn't going to start now.
