Leighton,

I have just returned to Britain after my fourth visit to your beautiful country. My son and family moved to New Zealand for a new job, better climate and lifestyle some six years ago, and have I believe come close to achieving this.

My wife and I have travelled widely in New Zealand and have always been met with friendly, helpful people with a smile.

One of the highlights of my visits was to listen to your radio show and your ‘voice’. Until now I had no knowledge of you as a person. I have since looked you up and have not been disappointed, a man after my own heart.

It was refreshing to listen to someone who says what he feels is right, is knowledgeable and with common sense and a deep understanding of its people and country. I believe a proud Kiwi with no hidden agenda.

We in Britain have to listen to the BBC which has sadly lost its way with hidden agendas, political correctness gone mad.
