Leaning against the wall in the château’s foyer, I removed my hiking boots and peeled off my socks. “Ugh. I need a shower. Stat.”
“Me too.” He flashed me a grin. “How about together? You know, to conserve water.”
“Conserve water?” I quirked an eyebrow. “When showering together takes three times as long?”
“Well, it’s worth a try . . .”
“Uh-huh. And you know what’s going to happen if we shower together, right?”
Jeff grinned as he hooked a finger in my belt loop and pulled me to him. “You know this place has a huge shower, right?”
“It does.” I brushed his lips with mine. “Was that one of the selling points?”
“It might’ve been.”
“So you planned this all along.”
“Maybe.” He cupped my ass through my shorts. “How often do we get to fuck in a shower that’s actually big enough?” Before I could reply with anything remotely witty, though, he kissed me, and if I had any resistance left, it melted away under the gentle persuasion of his lips and tongue.
“We should . . . We should get—”
He slid a hand under my shirt. “Let’s see where that shower takes us.”
“You know exactly where it’s going to take us.”
“Mm-hmm.” His thumbnail circled my nipple, making me gasp. “The sooner it takes us there, the better.”
“Shower first,” I said, suddenly out of breath. “Then I’m going to fuck you into the ground.”
“Promises, promises.” Jeff gestured at the bedroom. “Maybe I should grab a bottle of lube. You know, just in case we need it.”
“Just in case?”
He batted his eyes, and I rolled mine as I tugged him toward the bathroom.
Only the grime from the trail kept us from diving right in, but even as we stripped down and got into the shower, we kept exchanging looks that said it was a damned good thing we were keeping the lube nearby.
The second I’m clean, his eyes promised, it is on.
In between loaded grins and devilish looks, we washed off the sweat and the rust-colored dust. Jeff’s hands warmed my hips as I rinsed some soap off my face. Then his warm body was pressed against mine, touching all the way from his chest against my shoulders to his fully erect cock against my ass. He slid a hand around my throat and tilted my head back as he nibbled the side of my neck.
I closed my eyes, my fingers sliding over his wet skin as I tried to hold on to him. “You did . . . You did bring that lube in, right?”
“Of course.” He kissed beneath my ear. “Learned a long time ago if you’re naked near me, there’d better be lube.”
I whimpered and turned around in his arms. I dragged him into a kiss, water rushing all over us but not between us, and my God, I loved it when he kissed me like this. That demanding way that always had me gasping for breath and made me feel like we were on the brink of doing something reckless. Our hands were all over each other.
