Chapter Twelve

Except Miller changed his mind and instead, pushed Gid onto the floor behind the counter. It seemed dirty and risky, despite the fact that no one peeking in the windows could see them. The counter was completely solid. And there was a stool and ottoman back there. Miller had plans for that footrest.
